About David Nelmark
David Nelmark is a partner in the Des Moines, Iowa law firm of Belin McCormick, P.C. He helps individuals and businesses protect their brands, image, and ideas and enforce their rights in court when necessary.
Mr. Nelmark graduated Order of the Coif from Stanford Law School and served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Melloy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Prior to law school, Mr. Nelmark worked in marketing and event promotions. His experience includes assisting with public relations for major boxing events and writing as a freelance correspondent for FightNews.com. He has been a fan of Mixed Martial Arts since the debut of the UFC in 1993.
When he is not attending one of the many MMA events around Iowa, Mr. Nelmark can often be found overseeing another kind of fight. He is the President-Elect of the American Mock Trial Association which runs the national college mock trial circuit consisting of more than 600 teams.
